The information on this site is provided to give prospective clients considering a prenuptial agreement a general understanding of what can and cannot be accomplished with a prenuptial agreement, our suggestions on the sensitive subject of discussing a prenuptial agreement with your fiancée and, to address the special considerations applicable to prenuptial agreements under Thai law for marriages registered in Thailand. 

80% + of the prenuptial agreements drafted by our firm are for anticipated marriages between Foreigners and Thai partners. Most are drafted for foreign men marrying Thai women. As many American clients are aware, prenuptial agreements are recognized in every State in the United States although there is some variation in the application and enforcement from State to State. Other foreign countries such as the U.K., still either prohibit or limit, the ability of parties to enter into prenuptial agreements, at least to the extent they may effect property in the country in question. Canada, on the other hand, has an established body of case law upholding prenuptial agreements. Thailand also allows prenuptial agreements, subject to specific conditions set forth in the Thai Civil and Commercial Code.
